Here are some of the things families often want to know before getting started at STA.
Can beginners join STA?
Yes. STA has programs suitable for athletes who are completely new to cheerleading and tumbling. No previous experience is required for many beginner and recreational programs.
What age can my child start?
STA programs have different age ranges. The registration form will show the programs available for your athlete based on the details you provide.
Do I have to pay for the whole term?
Recreational enrolment is generally a full-term commitment. Payments may be made weekly, fortnightly or at the beginning of the term.
Does registering automatically confirm a place?
Registration allows STA to review the athlete's details and selected program. We will confirm enrolment or contact you if we need to discuss another class or program option.
What if I don't know which class to choose?
That's completely fine. Choose the option that seems closest, or contact STA and we'll help you find an appropriate starting point.
Where can I read STA's policies?
STA's enrolment terms, child-safety information, Codes of Conduct, medical information, privacy policy and other policies are available on our Policies page.
