What does Limited Places mean on the STA timetable?
Limited Places means the class is getting close to capacity. Availability is shown from STA's live program records and may change as athletes enrol.
What happens if a cheerleading or tumbling class is full?
You can still contact STA about the class. Depending on the program, we may be able to add your athlete to a waitlist or recommend another suitable class or training time.
How do competitive cheer team placements work at STA?
Competitive cheer athletes are placed with guidance from STA coaches. We consider factors such as age, experience, current skills and development so athletes can be matched with an appropriate team and pathway.
What is the difference between recreational and competitive cheer?
Recreational cheer is designed for athletes wanting to learn skills, build confidence and enjoy cheer without a full competition commitment. Competitive cheer involves team placement, routine training and competitions throughout the season. STA also offers Cheer Sport and CheerStars pathways between recreational and full competitive cheer.
